Happy New Year!!!!!!
It’s been a while since I’ve given any real time to this project - however, it is still very dear to my heart.
The holidays always make me think of loved ones and lost ones and this holiday has definitely made me think of Lolita…
I had the chance to visit her at her grave this Christmas and at her home and again in her room —- I couldn’t help but be inspired again - how could I have gotten so caught up that I didn’t post at such a fashion pivotal time!!!???? Fall/Winter :s
I am re-visiting this project first thing for 2011. The importance of show casing my grandmothers treasures and telling her story through them is so important for my being.
Also, I want to dedicate this project to my mother, Lolita’s daughter. May she know I think she is an amazing women and even at the glorious age of 52 the world is still hers.
