LolitaDolores is both an outlet and a portal. A rabbit hole of self discovery told through my grandmothers extensive collection of things, and a way for me to organize and archive all my inheritances which I consider as heirlooms and sharing them with a discerning world of visitors so this woman’s style and life is never truly lost.
With hopes of a multi-era’d showcase, curated in a very specific way (which at this point only exists in my head) and after 1 year of uploading my commitment to this project in the form of hundreds of photos and ideas, I now am ready to publish to the judicious and shrewd few.
Undeniably, clothes, shoes and jewelry have been continuously resurfacing as collections and snapshots into different times - even now after five years of her passing I seem to stumble into mind blowing treasures that are in my mind, perfect.
Fashion to Lolita was art. It was a commitment and a statement. She dressed everyday with intention and purpose. She was daring, brave and extremely bold.
